Working with A Designer

Business Name:

It’s important you choose a buisness name before choosing your designer. This is the most important part of the design process. If you need help, ask your designer ! I am always happy to help coming up with business names!

Style:

Be sure you know what style you are wanting. It gets frustrating for both the client and designer if you are unsure.

Style Description Examples:

  • Modern
  • Boutique
  • Vintage
  • Artistic
  • Classic

Colors:

Have a general idea on the color scheme you are wanting. This saves time during the design process. If you can supply the hex value, thats even better!

Fonts:

Do you want script? Do you want something clean and easy to read? Pick your favorite and stick with it.   Going back and forth between the two usually makes the inital decision harder!

Great Font sites:

The more info you have for your designer, the smoother the process will go. When I work with clients, I prefer one on one chat and I show proofs as I design. Do not be afraid to speak up if you’re not loving what you’re seeing. The more specific you are with design changes, the better. Do not worry about being difficult, or hurting the designers (or my) feelings. This is YOUR logo. YOUR business. YOU paid for it, you should get what you want.
